Camilla Gibb has long been one of Canada’s most fascinating of literary talents. Her new book has been one of the most eagerly awaited Canadian books of the season, and she’s in Vancouver now to talk about it, being a new mom and more. The book is called The Beauty of Humanity Movement. It is a novel set in Vietnam. It’s described as a book that speaks about the reverberation of conflict through generations, art, love, and more, all amidst the backdrop of Vietnam and its history. Camilla Gibb has a PhD in social anthropology from Oxford. She was born in London, but grew up in Toronto. Her previous book Sweetness in the Belly was a bestseller and a Giller Prize finalist.
