Blogger (www.ronamaynard.com) and former Chatelaine editor Rona Maynard joins Joseph Planta to discuss books, David Letterman, food, the state of magazines, and Thanksgiving, among other topics.

Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line. This is THECOMMENTARY.CA.

Rona Maynard joins me again. She’s one of my favourite guests on the program. She’s the former editor of Chatelaine, a job she was at for ten years, before retiring in 2004. She’s also a noted blogger and author. Her book, My Mother’s Daughter is one of my favourite books, because if you’re a fan of memoirs, this book is wonderfully written and instructive. Her blog’s the same, and a frequent read of mine. Do check it out: www.ronamaynard.com. There’s much to talk about every time she’s on, so let’s just get on with it. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, in Toronto, Rona Maynard; Good morning, Ms. Maynard.
