Harris Anderson
The comedian Harris Anderson discusses his debut comedy album Above and Beyond, a 604 Records release, performing, comedy and more, with Joseph Planta.
Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:
I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, British Columbia, at TheCommentary.ca.
Harris Anderson’s debut comedy album Above and Beyond is a terrific showcase of someone with a keen sense of comedy, and a prodigious ear, one for impersonation as well as musical performance. Along with live stand-up comedy, the Vancouver-born Anderson, has original music on the album. In fact, Mr. Anderson will be on tour performing music throughout February and early March. I ask him about that in our conversation which we taped nearly two weeks ago. He was in Toronto doing press for the album. We discuss comedy, his musical theatre training, growing up in Tsawwassen, and more. 604 Records is the label. Visit www.604records.com for information on how to get the album. The Twitter handle is @hulloharris. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, Harris Anderson; Mr. Anderson, good morning.
