The outgoing artistic director of Gateway Theatre, Jovanni Sy discusses their new production of It’s A Wonderful Life (06-31 December 2018), and the role of Potter that he plays, leaving Gateway, and more, with Joseph Planta.

Jovanni Sy joins me now. The artistic director of the Gateway Theatre company is playing the part of Potter in the their upcoming production of It’s A Wonderful Life. That begins 06 December and runs until 31 December 2018. It’s a holiday favourite directed by Peter Jorgensen, and stars Nick Fontaine as George Bailey. Mr. Sy is set to depart as artistic director of the Gateway Theatre, a position he assumed in May 2012.
