The artistic director of Ensemble Theatre Company Tariq Leslie talks to Joseph Planta about the 6th Annual Summer Repertory Festival that features productions of Dark Road by Ian Rankin and Mark Thomson, Aaron Sorkin’s A Few Good Men, and Martin McDonagh’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane.

Beginning 12 July 2018 and running until 17 August 2018 is the Ensemble Theatre Company’s 6th Annual Summer Repertory Festival. Playing in repertory is three shows: Dark Road by Ian Rankin and Mark Thomson. If you like Ian Rankin’s books, you’ll like this show. There’s Aaron Sorkin’s A Few Good Men, and The Beauty Queen of Leenane by Martin McDonagh, one of the modern classics of the Irish Theatre. Tariq Leslie is the Artistic Director of Ensemble Theatre, and we’ll discuss repertory theatre, this company, and this season of shows, and more. Tariq Leslie was trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He’s worked in the theatre, film and television. He co-founded Ensemble Theatre.
