Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:
I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.
Rena Cohen joins me again. Realwheels Theatre is presenting the award-winning Canadian play, Sequence. The play written by Arun Lakra looks at luck. It’s a science thriller that explores the intersection of math, nature, and spirituality. I’ll get Ms. Cohen, who is the production’s director to tell us as much as she’d like about the show, and its cast. Realwheels has cast four professional actors, including two who live with disability. It’s an ongoing commitment that Realwheels has had to foster interchange between mainstream and disability arts sectors. The production runs 14-24 March 2018 at North Vancouver’s Presentation House Theatre. Visit www.tickets.phtheatre.org for tickets and more information. Rena Cohen is the managing artistic director of Realwheels Theatre. She has worked as a director, teacher, and critic, and holds an MFA in theatre directing. www.realwheels.ca is the website for more. Please welcome back to the Planta: On the Line program, Rena Cohen; Ms. Cohen, good morning.
