The executive director of The ACT Arts Centre in Maple Ridge, Lindy Sisson discusses the first Maple Ridge Festival of BC Film, taking place 17-19 March 2017, the short and feature films to be shown, and more, with Joseph Planta.

This weekend, 17-19 March 2017, the first ever Maple Ridge Festival of BC Film will take place at the ACT Arts Centre in Maple Ridge. Joining me now to talk about this new showcase and to preview what’ll happen is Lindy Sisson the executive and artistic director of The ACT. With the Ridge Film Studios and support from the City of Maple Ridge, this new festival will highlight all the remarkable films that are produced in British Columbia. It’s a good time to see the talent from here. Over the Friday, Saturday and Sunday six shorts and six feature films will be screened. Lindy Sisson has been the executive director of the ACT Arts Centre for over eight years now. Previously she served as executive and artistic director of the Vancouver Children’s Festival.
