Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.

Zoey Leigh Peterson joins me now. She’s just published a new novel, Next Year, For Sure. I’ll get her to tell us about this book, about the nine-year relationship that Kathryn and Chris are in, and Emily, who comes into the scene. The book has been described as luminous and poignant when it illustrates insights into relationships, polyamory, love, and friendship. Zoey Leigh Peterson has had her fiction appear in such publications as The Walrus, EVENT, Grain, PRISM international, and more. She’s won many prizes including the Far Horizons Award for Short Fiction, and the Peter Hinchcliffe Fiction Award. She lives in Vancouver, after living all over the United States, and having been born in England. This is her first novel, which is published by Doubleday. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, Zoey Leigh Peterson; Zoey, good morning.
