Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:
I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.
If you’re a fan of the Outlander novels and the television show based on the books by Diana Gabaldon, you’ll want to get the new book, Outlander Kitchen: The Official Outlander Companion Cookbook. Its author Theresa Carle-Sanders joins me now to talk about her appreciation of Outlander and the recipes in this book. I’ll ask her about the journey to where we go, the sort of cuisine we get, as well as the research involved. Theresa Carle-Sanders lives on Pender Island, but joins me from here in Vancouver today. She is a professional chef and writer. Her website is at www.outlanderkitchen.com. The book is published by Delacorte Press, which is an imprint of Random House. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line, Theresa Carle-Sanders; Ms. Carle-Sanders, good morning.
