David Schreck talks with The Commentary’s Joseph Planta about BC politics and more.

Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

David Schreck has run for all three levels of government – municipally, provincially, and federally. In recent years he’s been known more for his participation on the provincial scene; elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, as the MLA for North Vancouver Lonsdale from 1991-1996. He’s served as a special advisor to two NDP premiers, Glen Clark and Ujjal Dosanjh.

More recently, you’ve probably encountered him as a talking head on radio, television and print, waxing political punditry on the goings-on in Victoria and beyond. You can hear him weekly on CFAX, and on 600 AM with Rafe Mair.

David Schreck publishes his own website, strategicthoughts.com, a repository of his columns, research, and political activism; of which Vaughn Palmer once wrote, “Schreck’s extensive research and biting observations are having an influence on news coverage.”

Welcome to thecommentary.ca, David Schreck; Good morning, Dr. Schreck.

This segment was produced by Joseph Planta, with Richie Leung and Vishal Dhir.
