The local theatre company Horseshoes and Hand Grenades Theatre is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and its newest production This Stays in the Room begins previews on Wednesday, 19 March 2014, and runs until 30 March 2014. Joining me now is its director Mindy Parfitt, who’ll tell us about the show, and the concept of this production. The show is written by the entire creative team, and is based on true stories of shame and forgiveness, told through text, photography, song, video, and dance. Mindy Parfitt is a founding member and co-artistic director of Horseshoes and Hand Grenades Theatre. She is an award winning director, whose recent directing credits include the fall’s Armstrong’s War, which was staged at the Arts Club Theatre.
