I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.

There’s a neat book out, to be published shortly, and it’s called Vancouver Was Awesome: A Curious Pictorial History. Its author Lani Russwurm joins me now to talk about this book, his acclaimed blog, Past Tense Vancouver (http://pasttensevancouver.tumblr.com). Mr. Russwurm joins me in studio now, and I’ll ask him about the personal and public stories that are throughout this book, how this book came about, and the collaboration with the popular website, VancouverIsAwesome.com. Lani Russwurm is a historian, and has been blogging since 2008. He holds degrees in political science and history from Simon Fraser University. Vancouver Was Awesome is published by Arsenal Pulp Press. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, in studio as it were, Lani Russwurm; Mr. Russwurm, good morning.
