Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver at TheCommentary.ca.

Lorelie Rozzano is a family counsellor at the Edgewood Treatment Centre in Nanaimo, British Columbia. She joins me now to talk about a new novel she’s just written, Jagged Little Edges. In the book, Lyndsey is a teen living a troubled life. She’s hurt by whatever family life she has—neglected, beaten—it’s dysfunctional to say the least. And there’s addiction. Looking for love, she turns to drugs and alcohol and finds herself in an abusive relationship. I’ll get Ms. Rozzano to tell us about this book, why she wrote and how much of her own experiences inspired this story. The book available as an eBook off of the Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites, and a tactile book will be available later in the year. The website for more is at www.jaggedlittleedges.com. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, Lorelie Rozzano; Ms. Rozzano, good morning.
