Canada AM’s Seamus O’Regan calls in from London, England to talk about CTV’s coverage of the Royal Wedding, covering William and Kate, and more, with Joseph Planta.

Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver at TheCommentary.ca.

There’s a wedding this Friday, and I probably don’t need to say whose. It’s expected that a couple billion people across the planet will watch the wedding of William and Kate, and Bell Media here in Canada is planning the biggest menu of coverage on all their networks and online. From CTV and CTV News Channel to Discovery, Bravo!, FashionTelevision, The Comedy Network, to their online outlets, they have assembled a big team to bring it all to us. Some programs have appeared already this weekend. One member of that big team joins me now. Canada AM’s Seamus O’Regan is on the line to talk about the wedding Friday and what else to expect this week. CTV’s coverage will also feature the actress and comedienne Tracy Ullman. Check out their website at www.theroyals.ca and read up and plan around their coverage this week, and the 15 hours they’ll be on Friday. Please welcome back to the Planta: On the Line program in London this morning, Seamus O’Regan; Good morning, Mr. O’Regan.
