Catherine Clark, host of CPAC’s Beyond Politics, talks to Joseph Planta about the interview program, politics and youth engagement, and more.

Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line. This is THECOMMENTARY.CA.

Catherine Clark joins me now. She is the host of Beyond Politics, where she interviews MPs from all parties, from across the country, not about politics of the day, rather about who they are beyond political life. She shows us these politicians as they really are, and the conversations are interesting. We first saw Ms. Clark back in the late 1990s when her father former prime minister Joe Clark returned to political life to run for the leadership of the then Progressive Conservative party. She was a visible and solid campaigner for him. She’s appeared on television since 2001. Beyond Politics airs Sundays at 6.00pm Pacific. You can see recent programs on CPAC.ca. I’m pleased to welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, Catherine Clark; Good morning, Ms. Clark.
