Blogger (www.ronamaynard.com [1]) and former Chatelaine editor Rona Maynard joins Joseph Planta to discuss books, David Letterman, food, the state of magazines, and Thanksgiving, among other topics.
Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:
I am Planta: On the Line. This is THECOMMENTARY.CA.
Rona Maynard joins me again. She’s one of my favourite guests on the program. She’s the former editor of Chatelaine, a job she was at for ten years, before retiring in 2004. She’s also a noted blogger and author. Her book, My Mother’s Daughter is one of my favourite books, because if you’re a fan of memoirs, this book is wonderfully written and instructive. Her blog’s the same, and a frequent read of mine. Do check it out: www.ronamaynard.com [1]. There’s much to talk about every time she’s on, so let’s just get on with it. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, in Toronto, Rona Maynard; Good morning, Ms. Maynard.
