The award-winning and internationally syndicated columnist, Eric Margolis joins me now, here in Vancouver. He’s the author of a new book, American Raj: Liberation or Domination? It sheds light on the west and its relationship with the Muslim world. After decades of travelling throughout the world, especially in the Middle East, Margolis provides a first-hand view of how we got to where we are, and how the centuries old conflict can be resolved. Among the points discussed in the book: why is there so much anger between the west and the Muslim world? Why is al Qaeda so popular and how can it be defeated. As well, views on Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan, and how what happens there affects us.
