Terry Gould joins me once again. The investigative journalist who's written about organised crime and social issues has a new book out, Murder Without Borders: Dying for the Story in the World's Most Dangerous Places. It is a fascinating book about seven journalists who have lived and died to tell the story. They pursue stories in spite of threats to their lives, bringing to light corruption on the part of military leaders, gangsters, paramilitary leaders, and politicians. In the four years Mr. Gould spent researching and writing this book, he traveled to Colombia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Russia and Iraq, countries where journalists are likely to be murdered on the job. It's not because of war, but because they are telling truths. Terry Gould has won numerous awards for his reporting.
