Marc Edge joins me now. He is an international journalism educator and media critic. He's here to talk about his recent book, Asper Nation: Canada's Most Dangerous Media Company. It's a lively and brisk read on the Asper media empire, its history, and how Izzy Asper's CanWest Global has become one of the world's largest conglomerates.

Marc Edge is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mass Communication at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, where he joins me this morning.
