He's written numerous books in the past-his latest is Best Weekend Getaways from Vancouver. There are 28 destinations in this book throughout the Sunshine Coast, Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan, as well as places within the Lower Mainland, all accessible from Vancouver. An outdoor columnist with the Georgia Straight, Jack Christie is also the host of the 'Rec Report' on Shaw's The Express.
