Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:
I am Planta: On the Line. This is THECOMMENTARY.CA.
It's perhaps fitting that this book has set its own record. The 2008 edition of the Guinness World Records is the world's bestselling copyright book. With all new photographs and over 1,500 new and updated records, this is an incredibly fascinating read. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it's been difficult to put down. Its editor, Craig Glenday joins me now, from here in Vancouver. He has edited this book since 2005. He and his staff sift through over 1,000 claims each week. I'll ask him about his endlessly fascinating job and more. I am pleased to welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, Craig Glenday; Good morning, Mr. Glenday.
