Chuck Slate, Hillary: America's First Dictator

Thursday, 24 March 2005Listen

The danger of electing Hillary Clinton president in 2008 is discussed and argued in Hillary: America's First Dictator (Trafford, 2005). Its author, Chuck Slate talked to Joseph Planta about why Clinton is perhaps ill-suited for higher office, as well as decried the culture of apathy and complacency in the United States.

Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

For a while now, there's been much talk about the former first lady, and junior senator from New York, Hillary Rodham Clinton running for president in 2008. It's perhaps the worst kept secret ever. But should she win her party's nomination, she would have a 50/50 chance of winning the presidency. Or more, considering she's already a frontrunner.

Chuck Slate is retired, but he's kept busy. He's written three previous books, and his latest is called Hillary: America's First Dictator, $28.00 CDN ($22.50 USD), published by Trafford Books. He joins me on the line this morning from his home in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

Please welcome to THECOMMENTARY.CA, Chuck Slate; Good morning, Mr. Slate.
