The 23rd Annual Vancouver International Film Festival bows September 23rd and runs through October 8th. The film festival, besides showcasing movies and fostering the art of cinema, facilitates the meeting of cinema professionals from around the world, as well as stimulate the motion picture industry in British Columbia and Canada.
