Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.

One of the more insightful, witty and necessary books is F-Bomb: Dispatches from the War on Feminism. In a time where women are abandoning feminism, and the onslaught against women due to anti-feminist PR campaigns, politicians of Donald Trump’s ilk, Gamergate, and more, the author Lauren McKeon goes to the frontline and reveals some of the challenges head on. She explores the anti-feminist universe, talking to some of its proponents and activists. The book looks at how race, class and gender affects feminism, and just how much more inclusive it could be. Lauren McKeon is an award-winning editor and writer. She is digital editor at The Walrus, and the former editor of This Magazine and a contributing editor at Toronto Life. This new book is published by Goose Lane. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, Lauren McKeon; Ms. McKeon, good morning.
