Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.

Rhonda Ganz joins me now. The poet, graphic designer and editor has just published her first collection of poetry: Frequent, Small Loads of Laundry. It’s a collection that has gotten some great reviews already, and showcases her abilities as poet, wordsmith, and observer of the passing scene. The poems in this collection are also funny, heartfelt, wise, and quirky. I’ll get Ms. Ganz to tell us about her work, about this collection, and more. The poetry of Rhonda Ganz has appeared in Rattle, The Malahat Review, Room, on city buses, and in anthologies such as Rocksalt, Poet to Poet, and Force Field: 77 Women Poets of British Columbia, whose editor Susan Musgrave was on this program with in 2013. She was born in Kenya, and lives in Victoria, BC, but joins me in person today. The website for more is at www.reganz.com [2]. This collection is published by Mother Tongue. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, Rhonda Ganz; Ms. Ganz, good morning.
