Detoxifying one’s self may seem like an arduous task. We’re afraid about wholesale change, even the cost of having to change one’s diet, not to mention missing some of the favourite things we might have to eat. Joy McCarthy joins me now to talk about her recent book, Joyous Detox: Your Complete Plan and Cookbook to Be Vibrant Every Day. It has 100 detox-friendly recipes that are gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free. And lest you think the food won’t taste good, I’ll get Ms. McCarthy to tell us just how tasty the recipes are because they look pretty good.
