Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.

Terry O’Reilly joins me again. The author, broadcaster, and adman has written a new book, This I Know: Marketing Lessons from Under the Influence. He has spent more than three decades at the helm of an award-winning advertising company, and over ten years now with marvellous radio programs O’Reilly on Advertising, The Age of Persuasion, and Under the Influence. He has taken the valuable lessons he’s learned from his career and life and put them in between the covers of this book. It is useful for the entrepreneur, big or small, that is looking to sell. It has a lot of wisdom in it, as well as anecdotes, wit and the inimitable storytelling we’ve come to expect from this CBC Radio personality, whose shows are also carried in the United States on SiriusXM and WBEZ Chicago. Visit www.terryoreilly.com, and follow him on Twitter, @terryoinfluence is the handle. This new book is published by Knopf. Please welcome back to the Planta: On the Line program, in Vancouver today, Terry O’Reilly; Mr. O’Reilly, good morning.
