The podcaster Nick Thornton discusses his podcast People Doing Things, interviewing, the arts, Vancouver, and more, with Joseph Planta.

Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.

Nick Thornton joins me now. He is a podcaster and a higher education professional and learning strategist. He is the host of a terrific podcast, People Doing Things. Since November 2014, he has been talking to creative and unusual minds, artists and personalities. And sometimes he doesn’t have guests, and the listener is treated to their host talking about life, observations of life, the state of affairs politically and socially. Mr. Thornton is a gifted storyteller and that, as well as his interest in creativity bring him to this show today as I ask him about why he started this podcast, and the sort of conversations that he has hosted over at www.PDTPOD.com. The Twitter handle is @thorntonosity. And the show’s on Facebook at www.facebook.com/peopledoingthingspodcast. It’s always fun to talk with people in the podcasting world, especially in this town. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, in person today, Nick Thornton; Mr. Thornton, good morning.
