The director Chelsea Haberlin talks to Joseph Planta about the Firehall Arts Centre’s current production of George F. Walker’s play Dead Metaphor, running until 23 April 2016.

George F. Walker is one of Canada’s prolific and critically acclaimed writers and playwrights. His play Dead Metaphor will be staged by the Firehall Arts Centre. Chelsea Haberlin is its director and she joins me now to talk about the play that’s been described as dead serious, and seriously funny. In the play, a young ex-sniper named Dean, who recently returns to Canada from Afghanistan. He deals with family, looking for work, and politics. The show features Meghan Gardiner, Mike Gill, Carmela Sison, Donna Spencer, Alex Willows, and Jovanni Sy. The show runs at the Firehall Arts Centre 02-23 April 2016.
