The executive director of the Association of Book Publishers of British Columbia, Margaret Reynolds discusses a new online database of BC books, as well as the state of publishing, with Joseph Planta.

There’s a new website that showcases more than eight thousand books that have been published by publishers in British Columbia. It’s comprehensive and regularly updated database that’s been launched by Association of Book Publishers of British Columbia, and powered by 49th Shelf. Go to bcbooks.49thshelf.com to see the website. Joining me now is Margaret Reynolds. She’s executive director of the ABPBC, and we’ll talk about the site, and the state of the BC publishing industry. It seems to be in good shape, just by looking at the number of books on the database, as well as the breadth of genres that come out of the great publishers in this province each and every season.
