Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.

Twenty Something Theatre’s next production is 52 Pick-up, the show written by TJ Dawe and Rita Bozi. The show is directed by Brian Cochrane, and features Sara Andrina Brown and Dan Willows. Joining me now is TJ Dawe, who I’ll get to tell us about this show. There are 52 scene titles written on a deck of cards that are thrown in the air. The performers perform the scenes one by one, picking up the cards randomly. Visit www.theatrewire.com for tickets and www.twentysomethingtheatre.com for information. TJ Dawe is an award-winning writer, performer and director. Some of his recent projects include Medicine, PostSecret, Mark Leiren-Young’s Never Shoot a Stampede Queen, and the play Toothpaste and Cigars, which he co-wrote, and was recently made into the film The F Word. www.tjdawe.ca is the website for more, and the Twitter handle is @TJ_Dawe. The show runs 13-29 November 2015 at the Havana Theatre, 1212 Commercial Drive. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, TJ Dawe; Mr. Dawe, good morning.
