The broadcaster Todd Hancock discusses his new program, The TODDCast Podcast, radio and more, with Joseph Planta.

Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.

Todd Hancock joins me now. His program, The TODDCast Podcast has been up and running since January, and is quickly getting quite the following. Visit www.toddhancock.ca to listen to the weekly podcast. Each week he talks to three different people in three segments. Interspersed is a lot of music. I’ll ask him about the selections. They’re three great conversations he has with each of his guests. One is usually from the music field, someone else will talk sport, and then someone else discusses entertainment and lifestyle issues. Todd Hancock is a graduate of BCIT, and in the nearly 20 years since, has been an on-air personality in Smithers, Prince George, and Victoria, before taking up at 99.3 The Fox here in Vancouver, where until 2014 he hosted their afternoon program for over a decade. He won multiple awards for his radio work. It’ll be fun talking to Todd about his work in radio, this new podcast, and more. You can download the podcast off of his site, or off of iTunes. Also check out www.soundcloud.com/toddcastpodcast. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, in studio as it were, Todd Hancock; Mr. Hancock, good morning.
