I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.

April is Read Local BC month, organised by the folks at the Association of Book Publishers of BC. There’ll be about 20 events throughout the province. On Wednesday, 15 April 2015 there’ll be an event at Artspeak here in Vancouver: Roughing it in the Bush Revisited. Joining me now is Daniel Zomparelli, who’ll be hosting the event that features poets including Evelyn Lau, Daphne Marlatt, and Jordan Abel. Mr. Zomparelli is the editor of the magazine Poetry is Dead, and with Dina Del Bucchia, hosts the Can’t Lit podcast. Visit www.poetryisdead.ca and www.sadmag.ca for more information, as those two publications are co-sponsoring the event. And of course visit www.books.bc.ca for more on Read Local BC and the ABPBC organisation. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, Daniel Zomparelli; Mr. Zomparelli, good morning.
