Norman Armour, artistic and executive director of the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival joins Joseph Planta to discuss the acclaimed festival, which begins 20 January (and runs to 08 February) 2015.

Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

I am Planta: On the Line, in Vancouver, at TheCommentary.ca.

In its 11th year, the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival continues to cross the line with innovative stage works. The festival’s artistic and executive director Norman Armour joins me now to preview what’s to come beginning 20 January 2015, and running through to 08 February 2015. For over 25 years now, Mr. Armour has been a producer and programmer in this city, co-founding Rumble Productions 20 years ago. He’s been an educator, and a director and performer himself. He co-founded PuSh, and we’ll reflect on the festival as it enters its second decade. Visit www.pushfestival.ca for tickets and information. I’ll get Norman to tell us about some of the highlights of the festival and more. Please welcome to the Planta: On the Line program, Norman Armour; Mr. Armour, good morning.
