The artistic director of Rumble Theatre, Stephen Drover talks about their new production of Tremors We Are Young, which is a nightly performance of three plays simultaneously at the Russian Hall, Trainspotting, This is War, and The 4th Graders Present an Unnamed Love-Suicide, with Joseph Planta.

Stephen Drover is the artistic director of Rumble Theatre. He joins me now to talk about their upcoming production of Tremors We Are Young. It’s a unique confluence of emerging talent in the theatrical profession where performers, directors, designers, stage manager, and technicians work with mentors in their respective field. The result is that each night audiences are able to see three shows performed simultaneously in various parts of the Russian Hall. The three plays are Trainspotting, This is War, and The 4th Graders Present an Unnamed Love-Suicide. I’ll get Mr. Drover to tell us about the works, the performers we’ll see, and the mentors involved. Also there’s an after-show party, with three bars. He has degrees in acting and directing from Memorial University and the University of British Columbia. He’s got a lot of directing credits at various companies across the country.
