Christopher Gaze, the Artistic Director of Bard on the Beach, talked with Joseph Planta about William Shakespeare, and the forthcoming 16th season which bows under the tents at Vanier Park in Vancouver, June 2nd to September 25th, 2005.

I’m pleased to welcome now, Christopher Gaze, the Artistic Director of Bard on the Beach, Western Canada’s premier Shakespeare festival, held each summer on the waterfront at Vanier Park here in Vancouver. It’s the 16th season, and this year’s productions are As You Like It, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Hamlet, and Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. The festival runs all summer with showings almost daily until Sunday, 25 September 2005.
