How do you get young people-people aged 18 to 34-to vote and be engaged in the political process? Olive Dempsey of Get Your Vote On talked with Joseph Planta this morning about their efforts to try and get young people to get their vote on, on May 17th.

Text of introduction by Joseph Planta:

18 to 34 year olds are the most disengaged voting demographic in the province of British Columbia. Joining me on the line this morning is Olive Dempsey from Get Your Vote On, a non-partisan campaign by and for young folks hoping to boost the profile of the election amongst this apathetic group of voters. The website is http://www.getyourvoteon.ca. Please welcome to THECOMMENTARY.CA, Olive Dempsey; Good morning, Ms. Dempsey.
